Easter Mantel

Easter is coming up quickly. I always like it when it's in April, however, being on the 1st of April is still early in my world.

There is A LOT of snow here and warmer weather is expected later next week, so bye bye snow!

Cleaning up my craft room, AGAIN! LOL!

Tammy and Erica are coming over on Wednesday and we are going to craft. I want to try my hand at an junk journal, Erica is thinking about making a wreath and not sure what Tammy wants to create. It's just nice to craft and talk and eat! LOL!!!

HELLO !!!'s ME! Hubby and I went to the Super Bowl Live downtown last month. It was fun and just a little cold. Trying to do different and more things this year.

There have been some changes. My daughter has divorced her hubby. This was before Christmas. So, November I was helping her find an apartment, pack, and move. The divorce was totally her idea.I was sad about it as I loved my SIL... everything has settled into a new routine.

Grandgirl is in 9th grade and doing very well. The divorce isn't affecting her as he was a stepdad and her bio dad is always involved with her. Very thankful for that.

My son bought a house in Sept and is fixing it up. The sewer backed up this past week...OH the joys of home ownership. He has buddies that helped him out which saved him lots of money.

Remember that you can find me on instagram   #debs.earthly.delights .  I don't know how to link you to it...LOL Come and visit me there!

Christmas Decor 2017 & Christmas Luncheon

Here is my Christmas for this year. I went with my vintage glass ornaments, tinsel and white lights. Very simple and easy!

My mantel is also simple. I wanted a clean look this year. There are white lights on the mantel.

This past Saturday was the Christmas luncheon at church. This is the candy bar before we loaded the jars with the candy. It's always a huge hit with the young and old!!!

This is the table that I set and I used paper plates! The theme was Winter Wonderland. We served quiche, salad, bun, wassail, coffee and for dessert, mini bundt cakes. Chocolate with peppermint, white chocolate raspberry, red velvet and eggnog. Delicious!!!

Are you all decorated for Christmas??? How's the shopping going? I need to get going on my shopping and cards. In fact, I need to make some cards.

The snow is coming tonight and the cold too! Winter is coming.

Teacup Swap Reveal

I joined Stephanie's Teacup Swap and CINDY, from Consider It All Joy, sent me the very pretty teacup in the photo above. Pink and fuchsia are my colors!

Cindy also included a hanky, tea towel, vintage postcards, yummy chocolate treats, tea of course, note cards and crafting words. The word JOY is included. That is my favorite word:
 J=Jesus O=Others/Only and Y= you.

This swap is so much fun !! Sharing the love of teacups and getting to meet other gals is a bonus.

THANK YOU, Cindy for the pretty teacup and all extras!

Thank you, Stephanie for all the work you do to make this Teacup swap happen! I really appreciate it.

Halloween Mantel

Here is my mantel for Halloween. Vintage and cuteness is what it's about. I have vintage children's hats, gurley candles, paper mache pumpkin, hubby's candy toy witch on the motorcycle, nut cups, birthday angels, old books. and noise makers.

The leaves are wonderful. My son bought his first home and has been busy cleaning, painting etc.  I recently visited my girlfriend in Myrtle Beach for a few days.

I did the tea cup swap that Stephanie for The Enchanted Rose had and will be sharing that soon.

Remember I'm on instagram  #debs.earthly.delights

Hope you are all doing well. Happy Fall.

Booth Fluffing & Fall cards

I had my duty day last week at Antiques on Mainstreet. After my shift, time to fluff the booth and start adding fall treasures. Much more to come. I just need to price things.

Since FALL is my Favorite season, I made some cards. There were a couple of days that sure felt like fall. I can wait! Winter is way too long. This week the MN State Fair starts. We are going. Have to have my corn dog and cream puff! YUM.

I'm also thinking it's time to put up a little fall on my mantle. Hubby is taking next week off of work. Maybe we will just play all week!
